# Chapters in the Player

The New Player now includes a **Chapters View**, allowing viewers to navigate through time-based sections within a video. This functionality is based on chapter configurations set in VMPro.

---

#### Adding Chapters in VMPro

1. Open [Advanced Video Editing](https://help.movingimage.com/docs/advanced-video-editing)
2. Navigate to Chapters section and follow the instructions in the documentation
3. Once configured, publish the video using the New Player. The player will now display chapters based on your settings.

#### Viewing Chapters in the Player

- **Chapter Markers**: Each chapter will be marked along the video timeline, allowing users to skip to specific sections.
- **Chapter Menu**: A chapter menu provides a detailed overview, showing each chapter’s title and description.

This feature enhances the video experience by enabling viewers to easily access specific sections, making it ideal for tutorials, presentations, or any content that benefits from a structured layout

> [!NOTE]
> **Note:** Due to iOS limitations, chapter tracks are not accessible when a video enters fullscreen mode. iOS switches to the native video player in fullscreen, which does not support selecting chapters.
