IP range protection
Use IP range protection to restrict video playback to specific IP addresses or ranges.
CIDR notation
IP ranges are defined using CIDR notation. In CIDR notation, subnet masks are specified by a suffix appended with a slash to the IP address. For example, 74.125.227.0/29 represents the IP range 74.125.227.0 to 74.125.227.7.
To enable IP range protection:
In the navigation bar, click Security Policies.
Select an existing security policy or create a new one.
In the editing area, select the IP range protection checkbox:
Enter the allowed IP ranges in the text box.
Video playback is only allowed within the specified IP ranges.
Why use IP range protection?
There are a few reasons why you might want to use IP range protection:
To restrict video playback to your employees or customers
To comply with licensing agreements or regulations
To prevent unauthorized access to your video content
