360° videos and Ad Configuration

Description
This chapter describes the 360° video feature as well as the ad configuration features.
Mark a 360° video in VideoManager Pro
You can mark 360° videos so that they can be played back correctly. To do this, follow these steps:
After uploading your 360° video, select it in the video list.
Open the Metadata accordion menu.
Check the This is a 360° video option.
(Optional) Select the video type from the drop-down menu:
2D equirectangular
3D top and bottom
3D side-by-side
To ensure correct playback, select a 360° ready player type for publication.
You can set up a 360° enabled player in the Player Generator. If you are not sure which player is suitable, contact movingimage customer support.
Here are some additional tips:
When uploading your 360° video, make sure that the file name includes the word "360". This will help the player to correctly identify the video.
For best results, use a 360° video player that supports the video type you have selected.

Ad configuration
You can also add video ads to your videos. You can choose from pre-roll, mid-roll, or post-roll ads, and you can even use a combination of all three.
To add video ads to a video, follow these steps:
In the VideoManager Pro video list, select the video you want to add ads to.
Open the Ad Configuration accordion menu.
In the Ad Configuration drop-down menu, select the ad configuration you want to use.
If you don't want to show any ads for this video, select No ads from the drop-down menu.
Global ad configuration
You can also set a global ad configuration for all videos in your account. This means that all videos will use the same ad configuration unless you specifically override it for a single video.
To set a global ad configuration, follow these steps:
In the VideoManager Pro administration area, go to Settings > Video Ads.
In the Global ad configuration section, select the ad configuration you want to use.
Click Save.

You can create custom ad configurations that meet your specific needs.
You can preview ad configurations before you apply them to a video.
