# Edit Metadata

## **Editing Metadata in CorporateTube**

After uploading an audio or video file to CorporateTube, you can still modify its metadata, including the title, description, channel assignment, and keywords.

> Additionally, if you have been designated as the "Person in Charge" for an upload by an administrator in VideoManager Pro, you can also edit its metadata. To learn more about this feature, click [here](/v1/docs/editing-video-data).

To edit the metadata of an uploaded file:

1. Locate the video or podcast you want to edit and click the triple-dot button next to it.
2. Select "Edit" from the drop-down menu.

4. Click the "Metadata" tab.
5. Edit any of the form fields listed on the page. Fields marked with an asterisk ( * ) are mandatory.

> [!TIP]
> Use hashtags to highlight specific words in your description. For example, "#leadership" will appear as a link, and when clicked, it will trigger a search using the following metadata: title, description, keywords.
  - **Title:** The name of your video or podcast.
  - **Channel:** Select the channel(s) where your video/podcast will be listed.
  - **Keywords (Optional):** Keywords help categorize videos or podcasts by related topics and facilitate searches.
  - **Description (Optional):** A description for your video or podcast. You can use HTML to add links to your descriptions.
6. Once you've made the desired changes, click [ Save ]. The buttons will gray out, and the fields will be updated to reflect your changes.

If you decide to discard your changes, click [ Discard Changes ].
