In this step of the event setup you are only configuring permissions for this event. Please look here if you want to know how to configure the user management of your whole LiveStream Pro Channel.

Description

In the event Permissions tab you can decide if the event that you are setting up should be visible for everyone in your LiveStream Pro channel or only for invited users.

Public

All LiveStream Pro channel members can manage the event, with permissions based on their roles. The permissions can be set up in the user management settings.

Private

If you set the event to private, only invited channel members can manage the event based on the selected role.

To invite new people to the event setup you can press the ‘Invite people’ button. In the newly opened window, you can select all persons who are part of your LiveStream Pro channel. The following roles are available for the invited persons:

Name

Description

Event Collaborator

Can edit the event but do not have permission to invite additional participants.

Event Owner

Can edit the event details and invite others to join as collaborators or co-owners.

Event Moderator

Will only be allowed to moderate the chat/Q&A - no matter what role they have on channel level.
