Keywords, Attachments and Comments

Keywords

Keywords are used to sort uploads by the terms you enter. They are especially useful for finding related uploads across channels.

There are two ways to set keywords:

Set Keywords During Upload

When uploading to CorporateTube, you will be presented with the upload form. There, a field for keywords can be edited.

Editing Keywords for an Existing Upload

To set or edit keywords for an existing upload:

  1. Click the [ My Uploads ] link in the drop-down menu under your name. Upload

  2. Hover over the upload you'd like to edit. Click the pencil icon.

  3. Enter keywords in the "Keywords" field.  You can use as many keywords as you want.

  4. Click the [ Save ] button when you're finished.

  5. Keywords are not displayed in the upload description, but they are used for displaying related uploads in the sidebar. Keywords are also used as part of the search function

Attachments

For some videos in your organization's CorporateTube, your administrator may attach files. This makes it easy to share information throughout your organization–for example, an internal  training video might have a handout attached to it, or a video about a new product might include the user guide as an attachment.

If a video has attachments, they will show up as a tab in the description box, next to the "Comments" tab. Click the "Attachments" tab to see a list of all files attached to the video, then click the name of an attachment to download the file to your desktop.

Comments

Comments are only available for internal CorporateTube accounts.

CorporateTube offers the possibility of leaving comments. If your administrator has enabled this feature, there will be a "Comments" tab beneath each video in the regular user view. Click the tab to see a list of all comments on a video. Click the "New comment" button to leave a comment.

Comments are displayed in reverse chronological order, with the most recent comments always at the top. The newest comment will always be marked with "Newest comment" in blue.

Use hashtags to highlight specific words in your comment. Example: "The is a great video about #leadership".

The word "leadership" will appear as a link and when you click on it it will result in a search.
