Introduction

This is the comprehensive documentation for all VideoManager Pro end users. This guide will focus mainly on the UI.

About VideoManager Pro

VideoManager Pro is a powerful video asset management tool that enables you to edit, manage and maintain your entire video portfolio. You can also use VideoManager Pro with other movingimage products to cover a wide range of video needs, such as corporate eLearning, livestreaming and supporting and maintenance.

Structure

This guide comprises three main components:

• Video Asset Management

• Player Generator

• Administration

Navigate to these three main components using the drop-down menu in the top right corner. The top menu bar also includes the [Help] button and [Log out] function.

Log in

To use VideoManager Pro, you will need to log in to your VideoManager Pro account with your account credentials. The web link URL and these credentials will be provided by your administrator.

In a browser, enter the URL for your VideoManager Pro account. You will see the login screen. Enter your credentials.

If your login is successful, you will be directed to the video asset management page.

Forgot password/Change password

To request a new password:

• Click the Forgot password button in the login dialog box.

• Enter your email address in the text box provided and click Request password.

• You will receive an email with further instructions on how to reset your password.
