# 360° videos and Ad Configuration

## Description

This chapter describes the 360° video feature as well as the ad configuration features.

### Mark a 360° video in VideoManager Pro

You can mark 360° videos so that they can be played back correctly. To do this, follow these steps:

- After uploading your 360° video, select it in the video list.
- Open the Metadata accordion menu.
- Check the **This is a 360°** video option.
- (Optional) Select the video type from the drop-down menu:
  - *2D equirectangular*
  - *3D top and bottom*
  - *3D side-by-side*
- To ensure correct playback, select a 360° ready player type for publication.
- You can set up a 360° enabled player in the Player Generator. If you are not sure which player is suitable, contact movingimage customer support.

Here are some additional tips:

- When uploading your 360° video, make sure that the file name includes the word "360". This will help the player to correctly identify the video.
- For best results, use a 360° video player that supports the video type you have selected.
- If you are not sure how to mark your 360° video, you can contact movingimage customer support for assistance.

## Ad configuration

You can also add video ads to your videos. You can choose from pre-roll, mid-roll, or post-roll ads, and you can even use a combination of all three.

To add video ads to a video, follow these steps:

- In the VideoManager Pro video list, select the video you want to add ads to.
- Open the Ad Configuration accordion menu.
- In the Ad Configuration drop-down menu, select the ad configuration you want to use.
- If you don't want to show any ads for this video, select No ads from the drop-down menu.

#### Global ad configuration

You can also set a global ad configuration for all videos in your account. This means that all videos will use the same ad configuration unless you specifically override it for a single video.

To set a global ad configuration, follow these steps:

- In the VideoManager Pro administration area, go to Settings > Video Ads.
- In the Global ad configuration section, select the ad configuration you want to use.
- Click Save.

**Tips**

- You can create custom ad configurations that meet your specific needs.
- You can preview ad configurations before you apply them to a video.
- If you have any questions about adding video ads to your videos, you can contact VideoManager Pro customer support.
