# Set language

After entering your event details, you can select the primary language of your live event.

| Letter | Description |
| --- | --- |
| a. Primary event language | This is the main language of your event. |
| b. Additional event languages (optional) | Alternatively, you can configure additional languages to turn your event into Multilingual Event. See [this article](/v1/docs/multilingual-events) for more information. Currently, you can choose between English, German, French and Italian. |
| c. Public event title | Here you can define the public event title which will be visible to your viewers. The event name in the event details tab is then only used internally. |
| d. Live subtitles | If you check the checkbox AI live subtitles will be generated for your stream based on the primary event language. To learn more about our Live subtitles [click here.](/v1/docs/live-ai-subtitles) |
