# Translating Subtitles and text objects

When you need to create videos in different languages, VideoCreator Pro’s translate feature can be a powerful tool to use. This process works via the Google Translate integration or other services like DeepL. XLIFF upload is also supported. With the following instructions, you will be able to translate your project into the language of your choice. Translating subtitles can be done on the **Dashboard** and in the **VideoCreator Pro** **Editor**.

## Translate a project on the Dashboard Translation of a project can involve all the text keywords as well as the subtitles (closed captions) if present in the project. Follow these steps: 1. Open the project details page of the project you want to translate. In the upper right corner, click on More, and select Translate Project from the dropdown menu:

- Pick the language you currently have in your project and choose the destination language.
- The second option allows you to translate just the text objects, or the subtitles, or the entire project.
- The third option allows you to create a new project for the translated version, and/or if there are subtitles, to add them to your existing project.
- Finally, click the Translate button to start the translation of your project.

When the translation is complete, a new project will be created if you have chosen that option. Otherwise, the translation will be added within the existing project.
