Before you start
To use this feature, an event must have already been created
This feature is useful if you
- run multiple similar events or event series
- need to quickly duplicate existing events with the same configuration.
In the event list, you can now duplicate an event easily by clicking on the "Duplicate" button:
If you click the button, you will clone the event in its entirety. This includes its configuration, descriptions and all uploaded assets, such as presentations, cover images and pictures.
Duplicated events are always created with the same title as the original event and include the text "(Copy)" at the end:
However, note that new ingest URLs and security credentials unique to the event are created for the duplicate events. This also means new distinct credentials are created.
By default, the start date of the duplicated events are set to the same day of the original event but start one hour after the time of the original event.
If duplication is not successful, the duplicated webcast will be removed completely again.
