    Summary

    The table below summarizes the actions associated with each role in LiveStream Pro. This role-based access control ensures that users can perform their tasks without compromising application security or integrity.

    Additionally, it allows administrators to manage user access and permissions as the organization grows or roles evolve, supporting scalability.

    Roles Description

    Four roles are currently available in LiveStream Pro, listed below:

    • Administrator: An administrator has access to all parts of LiveStream Pro: channel settings, user management, event setup and operator.

    • Editor: An Editor can create, edit and delete events but they have no access to channel settings, user management or operator.

    • Producer: A Producer can manage live events and moderate the Chat/Q&A in the operator. They cannot create/edit events, access channel settings or user management.

    • Moderator: A Moderator can moderate the Chat/Q&A in the moderation dashboard but they don’t have access to other parts of the operator nor the channel settings, user management or event setup.

    Stacking permissions

    If you assign multiple roles to a user, they will receive all the permissions associated with each assigned role.

    Example: A user with both the Editor and Producer roles will have the following permissions:

    • Full access to creating and editing events

    • Producing events in operator

    • Generating reports

    • Managing on-demand mode
