Access Control

Article summary

Control event access

In the cockpit, you can also directly set access for your event.

Event access

Primarily, there are three kinds of access:

  • Free access: anyone can enter in an event

  • Password protected: only participants with the correct password can enter the event

  • Guest list: only participants that have been invited or registered can enter the event

  • SSO: Attendees that match the SSO login rules are allowed to enter the event

Please note

Please contact our Professional Services team if you want to set up SSO for your company.

Login methods

You can choose login methods for accessing the event:

  • Google sign-in

  • Email sign-in

  • Guest sign-in

  • Single Sign On sign-in

If the user is already connected in the platform, this enforcement will not apply. This is only for users logging in for the first time to the platform.

RSVP

You can enable a custom registration form on your event page while the event is not live.

RSVP setting name

Description

Registration form

By enabling the registration form, you can customize the form presented to your future attendees.

Limit registration to allowed domains

Only users with an email from the allowed domains will be able to register to this event. You can configure the Allowed Domains in the Attendees-tab.

Enforce double opt-in

If enabled, users will have to confirm their email address before receiving the registration/invite email

Automatically allow guests

If enabled, new guests registered via the RSVP form will automatically be allowed into the event and will recieve the personal invite email instead of the registration email.

You also have the option to edit the registration form and registration email template.

If you want to embed the registration form of the event into another website, you can get the embed-code when clicking on the ‘EMBED REGISTRATION FORM’ button.
